PALAYAM
Palayam is very well known as a shopping place, especially for textile materials in Trivandrum. The main attraction of the place is three religious centres are here in side by side. They are Palayam Christian Church, Muslim Mosque and a Ganapathi Temple. Kerala Legislative Assembly is in Palayam. The main landmarks of the place are V.J.T.Hall, Rakthasakshi Mandapam, Fine Arts College, Saphalyam Shopping Complex, Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, G.V Raja Pavilion and Connemera Market. Four Christian Churches are in Palayam.
